Safari West

For some time now, Seth has been asking me to take him to Africa to see Cheetahs.  I decided going to Africa was probably not going to happen due to cost, lack of passports and my fear of travelling that far with the boys.  I did find a place in Santa Rosa that claimed to have cheetahs for a total of some 700 animals.  What's even better is you ride around the preserve in safari trucks.  Santa Rosa is roughly and hour and a half from out house, so it was a bit of a drive, but it was definitely worth it.  The tour itself was a little "wordy" for the boys.  Seth kept asking why we were stopping, but they really enjoyed seeing the animals.  Seth also liked to point our pooping and question why there were no penises (most of the animals are male for obvious reasons).  Seth also decided he had to pee when we were in the cape buffalo area.  Cape  buffalo being the second most dangerous animal in Africa after the hippo.  It was pretty cold.  Luckily they have blankets for you to use.  Maybe next year we will stay overnight in one of the cabins.
