Rus was able to pick up Jane in the early evening today. She seems glad to be home, yet clearly doesn't feel well yet. She can't decide where she wants to be. Wyatt, of course, doesn't understand "quiet", "shh", or "indoor voice." We had to take away his alligator push toy as he was just too noisy (despite the addition of mole skin.)
Jane has five medications in addition to the hydration therapy. Everything from anti-emetics, hypertension drugs to herbal kidney supplements. We had to take away her water dish as she is just drinking continuously and making herself vomit. She will have wet food mostly, with some dry if she gets diarrhea. Rus got to practice the infusion at the vet. She goes back in a week to re-check her.
The report from the vet said her kidneys are working at maybe 25%. She was 7% dehydrated when she came in. We got a DVD with her x-rays on it. The reports had her picture on them. They run a professional shop.
Right now Jane is meowing from the bathroom. I can't tell if she enjoys being pet or is just too weak to protest.
