Yesterday, when I picked Wyatt up from day care, Nu (one of the caregivers) was waving at Wyatt and saying "Bye!" Wyatt answered with a wave and a "bye" of his own. He said it twice.
Today when I picked him up another mom was saying that when her son, Kenzo, said "outside", Wyatt also said "outside."
This morning he said "ba-na" when I said "ba-na-na."
He is a funny little guy. He says things once and then moves on. I kind of thought that kids kept repeating things because they wanted to perfect them, or were fascinated with a new word, but Wyatt says something and moves on.
Still, his speech is improving. I am really, really happy.
