Well, when we went in this evening they were checking his blood for sepsis. So far, everything is negative, they are doing a culture, but the doctor doesn't think it will come back showing anything.
Apparently, around 3pm he had a spit up problem, some desats and looked pale to the nurses so the doctors ordered the tests. The doctor didn't seem to concerned since the tests were negative.
We are noticing that he has these episodes where he gets overloaded and just kind of droops. In this case his nasal canula kept falling out and his feeding tube came out. There was so much tape on his face and it was close to his eye. I don't know why they do that! It's the second time the tape has been close to his eye. He cried when she pulled it off. Poor little guy. After that he started to desat and went limp. We actually ended up having to put him back. It is really heartbreaking to watch.
We are going to check in on him later.
